Join us for a free screening of To Which We Belong, presented by David Ford as part of his Regenerative Agriculture film series at the Fairfield Arts & Convention Center this summer. A community talkback will follow the film.

To Which We Belong is a documentary that follows farmers, ranchers, and ocean farmers around the world as they move away from conventional industrial practices that are no longer sustainable or profitable and adopt regenerative approaches instead.

The film shows how these land and sea stewards are using practices such as high-density rotational grazing, no-till farming, cover crops, diverse crop rotations, and regenerative ocean farming (growing seaweed and shellfish). Together, these methods rebuild soil health, increase organic matter, improve water cycles, and pull significant amounts of carbon out of the atmosphere and back into the ground.

At its core, the film makes a simple but powerful case: the solutions to climate change, declining soil fertility, and environmental degradation may already be under our feet — and in the hands of the people who work the land and sea every day.
