More details regarding the performance will be sent home on Monday. \nSHOW SYNOPSIS\nTreasure Island\nAdapted by Jim Caron \nMusic and Lyrics by Michael McGill and Jim Caron \nYoung Jim Hawkins\, a mischievous lad\, lives with his Mother and six Sisters in a seaside village on the coast of Maine. The year is 1782 and the American War for Revolution is in its last days. Longing for adventure\, Jim comes under the hypnotic spell of the legendary pirate\, Long John Silver. While waiting tables in the family Inn\, Jim finds a treasure map and\, with the villainous Silver as his seeming mentor\, sails uncharted seas with only the ragged map and a flock of Gulls as guides. Always up for adventure\, Jim’s Ruffian friends say farewell to their Mariner parents and serve as cabin boys for Silver and his band of hilarious (although unsavory) Pirate types. Once on the island\, nights are sleepless as true colors are revealed in our hero’s quest for the proverbial happy ending. Then – at last – the treasure is found and hand in hand we’re homeward bound. \nSPECIAL WORKSHOPS \nImprov \nListening\, creativity\, bravery – all important skills for the Improv Actor to hone. This workshop emphasizes teamwork and “all-in” participation as the students learn to act without a script. Students of any experience level will be successful in this workshop. \nBehind the Scenes \nActors have very important jobs to do to tell a story\, but there are so many people who make theatre magic happen before the curtain even rises! This workshop explores the world of Costume Design\, Set Design\, and Makeup Design to give students a taste of the many artforms involved in making a performance great. \nPut Your Best Foot Forward \nGet your groove on with this fun\, physical workshop. Students will learn different styles of movement and dance used in Theatre to create an interpretive dance of a classic fairytale! This workshop is great for all levels of movers. \n

DESCRIPTION:In partnership with the Fairfield Public Library\n\n\n\n\n\n\nDocumentary ‧ 1h 12m\nThere will be a live zoom discussion and Q&A with filmmaker Alex Leff following the film.\nFREE ADMISSION\n\n \nCycle of Memory (2023) Trailer from Ashbourne Films on Vimeo. \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nCycle of Memory follows filmmaker Alex Leff and his younger sibling Koby as they try to uncover the past and capture the present\, in order to be remembered in the future. Guided by old photographs of the 1945 trip\, they search for places aged by time. But while searching for Grandpa Mel’s past\, the two are confronted with their own fraught history. If they’re going to complete the turbulent journey\, they’ll have to face their own emotional potholes and tumultuous relationship. With the help of a grandmother learning to live alone for the first time\, Mel’s lifelong friend and co-adventurer on the bike trip\, and a family collection spanning 1950s film reels to 1990s video tapes\, Cycle of Memory explores the importance of intergenerational connection\, healing painful pasts\, and leaving a meaningful time capsule for the future.

That nasty tornado carries Dorothy and her canine pal Toto from the friendly confines of her Kansas home to a fabled fantasy of mystery in the land of Oz. Our story begins with the Illusionists who set the scene for the tale you are about to witness. With the help of the Munchkins and Glinda herself\, the young Miss Gale and her loyal pooch join forces with the Scarecrow\, the Tin Man and\, of course\, the Cowardly Lion. Off they go down the Yellow Brick Road–side-stepping a Wicked Witch and her ferocious Kalidahs\, Sprouts that are far nicer-looking than they act\, and the loyal Green Guard–on their perilous journey to find the Wizard and ask for his help. A young princess named Show White finds herself in peril when her step-mother\, the Queen\, is told by her Magic Mirror that the princess is fairer than she! Aided by her two Henchmen and a band of evil Bats\, the Queen plots to get rid of Snow White. Snow White escapes from the Queen and from the Black Forest Creatures with help from Witless the Woodsman\, and finds a home with the Seven Dwarfs. When the Queen learns of Snow White’s whereabouts\, she attempts to poison Snow White. Pay full price enrollment ($100) for Aladdin and a discounted rate of $75 for Rapunzel when participating both weeks. Please contact Niccole at niccole@fairfieldacc.com BEFORE paying for the 2 week discount code. Students that are approved for a scholarship will have scholarship pricing both weeks and not eligible for other discounts. \nMissoula Children’s Theatre takes students ages 5-14 from audition to performance in just 5 days! \nStudents can expect to learn basic performance skills and song and dance routines\, all while having an absolute BLAST! Registration includes all materials\, costumes\, scripts and makeup. The full\, detailed rehearsal schedule will be sent home with students according to their assigned role after auditions on Monday.\n**Following auditions\, our youngest cast members will begin rehearsals on Wednesday\, and will rehearse during the morning session for the remainder of the week.\n**There will be one performance at 7:00 PM on Friday evening. Students will arrive 60-90 minutes before the performance time to get into full makeup and costumes. More details regarding the performance will be sent home on Monday. \nSHOW SYNOPSIS \nALADDIN \nAdapted by Michael McGill \nMusic and Lyrics by Michael McGill \nFor Aladdin it’s not easy to find a magic lamp but it’s even harder to get a date! It’s a swirling sandstorm of famous Arabian Tales from Ali Baba to Scheherazade\, and even Sinbad the Sailor\, as Aladdin journeys to find a magic lamp in a Cave of (not-so-great) Wonders. Along his way Aladdin seeks answers and advice from wise Genies\, a powerful Sultan\, and his own Mother to find a way to meet the Princess. However\, even with the lamp in hand\, Aladdin will have to learn that it takes more than a wish to make a good impression. Full of memorable characters\, from lost Penguins to talking Palm Trees\, this is an adventure worthy of 1\,001 laughs. \nSPECIAL WORKSHOPS \nTBD

Well\, it didn’t really\, but our story takes you on a frivolous frolic through the French countryside. The Ogres garden in the Mushroom patch while the Corn and Potato spies report back to Madame Gothel. Frenchy and his intense friends\, the Wood Elves\, do their best to help Rapunzel escape the grasp of Madame Gothel. The lost Prince\, Rapunzel’s parents\, and her friends the Unicorns try to help. Just when you think it’s safe to cross the bridge\, a Troll and Three Billy Goats Gruff get in the way. It doesn’t help that the Three Bears (or is it four) confuse Rapunzel with Goldilocks and chase her through the forest. Add to that the Gremlins trying to play tricks on everyone\, and you have chaos! Well\, it’s not that bad because the Pixies foil the Gremlins’ plans most of the time. In short\, Rapunzel and all the rest of the characters tell a silly tale of personal triumph and friendship. \nSPECIAL WORKSHOPS \nTBD
