That nasty tornado carries Dorothy and her canine pal Toto from the friendly confines of her Kansas home to a fabled fantasy of mystery in the land of Oz. Our story begins with the Illusionists who set the scene for the tale you are about to witness. With the help of the Munchkins and Glinda herself\, the young Miss Gale and her loyal pooch join forces with the Scarecrow\, the Tin Man and\, of course\, the Cowardly Lion. Off they go down the Yellow Brick Road–side-stepping a Wicked Witch and her ferocious Kalidahs\, Sprouts that are far nicer-looking than they act\, and the loyal Green Guard–on their perilous journey to find the Wizard and ask for his help. For they are sure his Wizness will grant their wishes and send Dorothy and Toto back to their home–or will he? We’ll never tell. Come see for yourself. \n  \nSPECIAL WORKSHOPS \nTBD

The year is 1782 and the American War for Revolution is in its last days. Longing for adventure\, Jim comes under the hypnotic spell of the legendary pirate\, Long John Silver. While waiting tables in the family Inn\, Jim finds a treasure map and\, with the villainous Silver as his seeming mentor\, sails uncharted seas with only the ragged map and a flock of Gulls as guides. Always up for adventure\, Jim’s Ruffian friends say farewell to their Mariner parents and serve as cabin boys for Silver and his band of hilarious (although unsavory) Pirate types. Once on the island\, nights are sleepless as true colors are revealed in our hero’s quest for the proverbial happy ending. Then – at last – the treasure is found and hand in hand we’re homeward bound. \nSPECIAL WORKSHOPS \nImprov \nListening\, creativity\, bravery – all important skills for the Improv Actor to hone. This workshop emphasizes teamwork and “all-in” participation as the students learn to act without a script. Students of any experience level will be successful in this workshop. \nBehind the Scenes \nActors have very important jobs to do to tell a story\, but there are so many people who make theatre magic happen before the curtain even rises! This workshop explores the world of Costume Design\, Set Design\, and Makeup Design to give students a taste of the many artforms involved in making a performance great. \nPut Your Best Foot Forward \nGet your groove on with this fun\, physical workshop. Students will learn different styles of movement and dance used in Theatre to create an interpretive dance of a classic fairytale! This workshop is great for all levels of movers. \n

SUMMARY:COMMON GROUND
DESCRIPTION:DOCUMENTARY 1h 45m \nThe film premiered at Tribeca Film Festival (Winner of Human/Nature Awward) in June and features a star studded cast: LAURA DERN\, ROSARIO DAWSON\, JASON MOMOA\, WOODY HARRELSON\, IAN SOMERHALDER\, DONALD GLOVER. This is the highly anticipated follow-up film to Kiss the Ground\, also directed by the Tickells\, which is narrated by Woody Harrelson and won over 75 major film festival awards. \nCOMMON GROUND is the hopeful and uplifting story of the pioneers of the “Regenerative Movement” who produce tremendous quantities of nutritionally dense food and are working to balance the climate – all while bringing our entire ecosystem back to life. The film explores how Americans from different walks of life\, different political backgrounds and different parts of the country share one thing in common – the very soil beneath their feet. The film investigates the power of “regenerative” farming systems – from large to small scale farmers who are the champions of soil health as the key to unlocking more (and healthier) food to feed America and the world. \n\n\n\nDid you know you can enjoy a glass of beer or wine with your movie? We offer a variety of bottled beers\, as well as select white and red wines for you to pair with our fresh buttery popcorn\, and your favorite boxed candies.

SUMMARY:The City Without Jews
DESCRIPTION:With live original music composed and performed by world-renowned klezmer \nviolinist Alicia Svigals and celebrated silent film pianist Donald Sosin!\nSet in the Vienna-like city of Utopia\, H. K. Breslauer’s 1924 The City Without Jews (Die Stadt ohne Juden) follows the political and personal consequences of an anti-Semitic law to expel the city’s Jews. When things start to decline\, the National Assembly must decide whether to invite the Jews back. The film’s stinging critique of Nazism is part of the reason it was no longer screened in public after 1933. Masterfully restored by Filmarchiv Austria. \n \nThe City without Jews (Die Stadt ohne Juden) (1924) Trailer from Gartenberg Media Enterprises on Vimeo. \n\nMore information about the artists: \nAlicia Svigals \n \nDonald Sosin

Celia and her three sisters were allowed one visit to the World Above\, each on their sixteenth birthday\, to learn the secrets of life on dry land. Their discoveries included ferocious dragons\, advancing armies and\, of course\, a handsome and resourceful Prince Charming.
