DESCRIPTION:Showtime:\nSaturday\, 6/7 | 7:30 PM \nFREE ADMISSION \nLocal filmmaker Amine Kouider will present a special screening of The Land of Nothing\, a new surrealist short film ten years in the making. \nThe film weaves poetic imagery and dreamlike storytelling to follow a poet’s search for his lost muse through a vibrant\, colorful\, and mystical landscape where the threads between worlds are thin and the boundaries of reality begin to blur. \nThe film was created as part of the David Lynch MFA in Filmmaking at Maharishi International University and supported by a grant from the Iowa Arts Council. \nThe screening will include some of Amine’s other creative work and will be followed by a Q&A session with the filmmaker.

Pay full price enrollment ($100) for The Wizard of Oz and a discounted rate of $75 for Snow White & the Seven Dwarfs when participating both weeks. That nasty tornado carries Dorothy and her canine pal Toto from the friendly confines of her Kansas home to a fabled fantasy of mystery in the land of Oz. Our story begins with the Illusionists who set the scene for the tale you are about to witness. With the help of the Munchkins and Glinda herself\, the young Miss Gale and her loyal pooch join forces with the Scarecrow\, the Tin Man and\, of course\, the Cowardly Lion. Off they go down the Yellow Brick Road–side-stepping a Wicked Witch and her ferocious Kalidahs\, Sprouts that are far nicer-looking than they act\, and the loyal Green Guard–on their perilous journey to find the Wizard and ask for his help. DESCRIPTION:Evelyn Gamrath’s Summer Camp returns this July with Missoula Children’s Theatre 2 weeks of shows! \n\nPreregistration is required! \nCost: $100 per student (scholarship opportunities are available — contact Niccole at niccole@fairfieldacc.com BEFORE paying) \nDoes your student want to participate both weeks? Pay full price enrollment ($100) for The Wizard of Oz and a discounted rate of $75 for Snow White & the Seven Dwarfs when participating both weeks. Please contact Niccole at niccole@fairfieldacc.com BEFORE paying for the 2 week discount code. Students that are approved for a scholarship will have scholarship pricing both weeks and not eligible for other discounts. \nMissoula Children’s Theatre takes students ages 5-14 from audition to performance in just 5 days! \nStudents can expect to learn basic performance skills and song and dance routines\, all while having an absolute BLAST! Registration includes all materials\, costumes\, scripts and makeup. The full\, detailed rehearsal schedule will be sent home with students according to their assigned role after auditions on Monday.\n**Following auditions\, our youngest cast members will begin rehearsals on Wednesday\, and will rehearse during the morning session for the remainder of the week.\n**There will be one performance at 7:00 PM on Friday evening. Students will arrive 60-90 minutes before the performance time to get into full makeup and costumes. More details regarding the performance will be sent home on Monday. \nSHOW SYNOPSIS \nSnow White & the Seven Dwarfs \nAdapted by Jim Caron \nMusic and Lyrics by Michael McGill \nThe Missoula Children’s Theatre presents SNOW WHITE & THE SEVEN DWARFS\, an original adaptation of the classic fairy tale. A young princess named Show White finds herself in peril when her step-mother\, the Queen\, is told by her Magic Mirror that the princess is fairer than she! Aided by her two Henchmen and a band of evil Bats\, the Queen plots to get rid of Snow White. Snow White escapes from the Queen and from the Black Forest Creatures with help from Witless the Woodsman\, and finds a home with the Seven Dwarfs. When the Queen learns of Snow White’s whereabouts\, she attempts to poison Snow White. But the Queen’s evil plans are thwarted when Snow White’s fearless Forest Friends\, her father King Backwards\, the Seven Dwarfs and the Prince come to her rescue. \nSPECIAL WORKSHOPS \nTBD
